Skin absorbs up to 64% of what we put on it, and most cosmetics contain ingredients we're just not willing to play around with. Luckily, there are a few beauty brands that prioritize the use of organic ingredients that are good for your skin—and, more importantly, leave out toxic ingredients that will harm it. We've sampled countless natural and organic beauty products, and these all-stars have made it into our beauty routines.

For Your Face

KU by Kide: This compact mineral foundation allows our skin to breathe while giving it a soft, luminous finish. Like all Kide products, it's made with real diamonds, and it nourishes the skin with green and white tea extracts.

Vapour Beauty Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation: When we need a little extra coverage, we go for this cream foundation. The minerals in it reflect light, so skin appears smooth with an even tone.

 Couleur Caramel Corrective Cream: Rich in multivitamins, moisturizing fats from olives and powerful antioxidants from almonds, this corrective creams covers our dark circles and blemishes—and nourishes and protects it for the future.

Bronzer KA Sunshine by Kide: This bronzer delivers the perfect subtle glow. We like to use it to highlight our cheekbones in the summer.

For Your Eyes

Vapour Beauty Mesmerize Eye Color: This convenient stick applicator is easy to take anywhere, and its moisturizing antioxidants nourish your lids. Layer Smolder and Flash to create subtle depth and highlights for day and try sultry Storm for evening. 

Couleur Caramel Mascara: We had all but given up on the idea of natural mascara and were going mascara-free until we found this plant-based formula. It actually goes on smoothly, stays put and performs better than our old tar- and petroleum-based mascaras.

For Your Lips

Hurraw! Mint Lip Balm: We adore this small Montana-based brand that sources fair trade, organic, vegan and raw ingredients for their hand-mixed lip balms. The mint flavor delivers an amazing long-lasting tingle.

Korres USA Cherry Lip Gloss: This lip gloss provides shine and vibrant color and hydrates with cherry oil and natural antioxidants.

ILIA Pure Lip Care: We recently discovered this fabulous line and love the bold colors, especially Dizzy. Each lipstick conditions with jojoba oil, cocoa butter and essential oils.

And even the purest makeup needs to come off at the end of the day. To get the job done sans chemicals, we like Vapour's Clarity Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil. More than a cleanser, it removes makeup, tones and brightens with essential oils and vitamin E.
